McCann Worldgroup, Gurugram ranked 3rd most effective agency office in the world; Leo Burnett Mumbai and Ogilvy Mumbai rank in top 10

The Effie index rankings reveal McCann Worldgroup to have achieved the 3rd rank globally. Leo Burnett Mumbai ranked fifth in the list and Ogilvy Mumbai was recognised as the seventh most effective agency office in the world.

The 2023 global Effie index rankings were announced on June 5. Three Indian offices of agencies ranked in the top 10 globally for being the. Most effective agencies in the world.

McCann Worldgroup Gurugram ranked third in the world for the most effective agency office in the world.

Leo Burnett Mumbai ranked fifth in the list and Ogilvy Mumbai was recognised as the seventh most effective agency office in the world.

The top ten, excluding the Indian agency offices include AlmapBBDO, Sāo Paulo - Brazil in the 1st place, Leo Burnett Dubai in 2nd place, GUT Buenos Aires - Argentina in 4th place, Special Aukland in 6th place, DDB Bogotá - Colombia in 8th place, Gres Todorchuk Kyiv - Ukraine in 9th place and Africa Creative, Sāo Paulo in 10th place.

The list of 100 included a total of eight Indian agencies ranked globally. Apart from the aforementioned, the list includes DDB Mudra Group Mumbai in 16th place, MullenLowe Lintas Mumbai in 25th place, The Womb Communications Mumbai in 47th place, Ogilvy Gurugram in 67th place, Wavemaker Mumbai in the 83rd position and Enormous Mumbai came in 91st.

The Effie index identifies and ranks the most effective agencies, marketers, brands, networks and holding companies by analysing finalist and winner data from Effie Awards competitions around the world.
