Tech layoffs 2025: The biggest job cuts in Silicon Valley and beyond
Accenture Song, a tech powered creative group, has roped in Arun Kumar as the global head of data and artificial intelligence.
Kumar, who joins Accenture Song after a period of independent consultancy, will report to Baiju Shah, global chief strategy officer, Accenture Song.
Before venturing into independent consultancy, Kumar was the chief data and marketing technology officer at Interpublic Group (IPG).
In that role, he was responsible for developing its data and technology solutions globally and growing its addressable media buying practice, stated a media report. Further, he was also involved in IPG’s major acquisitions.
On September 2, Mark Green, who was the co-founder and chief executive officer of Australia based creative agency, The Monkeys and who currently leads Accenture Song's Australia and New Zealand operations as president, has been named the global CEO of Droga5. He will assume the role starting in October 2024 and will relocate to New York city.

The leaders highlighted how AI is emerging as a critical enabler in this shift from marketing’s traditional focus on new customers to a more sustainable model of driving growth from existing accounts.
