ENTRY, JUDGING & AWARDS NIGHT OVERVIEW AND GUIDELINES

Entry Process

BASIC ELIGIBILITY

Open to Indian and India-based marketers, brands, creative agencies, media agencies, design studios, production houses, independent creators, and content/tech platforms. Work must have been published or commercially launched and released between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. The work must be an Indian ad or campaign created for Indian audiences and platforms. International entries will not be considered.

ENTRY SUBMISSION

All entries to be submitted via the official awards portal.

Each entry must include:

  • ↠ Project/Campaign Title
  • ↠ Client/Brand Name
  • ↠ Entry Category
  • ↠ Creative Synopsis (max 300 words)
  • ↠ Supporting Media: video (MP4), image (JPEG/PNG), and URLs
  • ↠ Impact Metrics (quantitative and/or qualitative)
  • ↠ Complete Credits (creative, strategic, production, media teams)

JUDGING CRITERIA

Each category will have tailored rubrics, but overall evaluation will emphasize:

CREATIVE BRAVERY

Creative Bravery recognizes ideas that take risks - concepts that dare to be different, challenge norms, and step outside the comfort zone. This could mean tackling taboo topics, embracing unexpected humor, playing with new aesthetics, or pushing unconventional brand narratives. Judges will reward work that reflects a bold creative vision, whether in its message, tone, or execution. Entries that show courage in concept or confrontational creativity - especially in a cluttered or risk-averse environment - stand out as true category-breakers.

CULTURAL IMPACT

Advertising has the power to shape culture, and this criterion focuses on work that contributes meaningfully to the public discourse. Judges look for campaigns that tap into current conversations, reflect real societal shifts, or influence how people see a brand, product, or even themselves. Whether it’s sparking a viral moment, shifting perceptions, or giving voice to underrepresented communities, high-scoring entries under this lens are those that leave a lasting mark on culture - not just on sales charts.

STORYTELLING DEPTH

Great creative work tells a compelling story - one that evokes emotion, holds attention, and connects with audiences on a deeper level. Judges will assess how well the narrative unfolds, whether it’s in a 30-second ad, a digital series, or a one-line copy. Clarity of plot, authenticity of voice, emotional arc, and resonance of characters all contribute to this measure. Entries that succeed in making audiences care - whether they laugh, cry, or act - show true storytelling depth.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & EXECUTION

Even the best ideas can falter if not executed well. This criterion evaluates the finesse and attention to detail in bringing the concept to life - be it through writing, art direction, cinematography, design, editing, or user experience. Judges will reward entries that showcase high production value, consistency in tone, and excellence in creative craft across every touchpoint. Well-executed work demonstrates intent, polish, and an understanding that even small creative decisions contribute to the overall impact.

INNOVATIVE USE OF MEDIA / TECHNOLOGY

In an age of ever-evolving platforms and tools, creativity is often defined by how well it adapts. This criterion celebrates work that leverages media and technology in unexpected, effective ways - whether through immersive formats, AI integration, interactive experiences, or smart contextual placements. Judges will recognize ideas that treat technology not just as a channel, but as part of the storytelling canvas, turning constraints into creative opportunities and enhancing audience engagement through innovation.

RESULTS & EFFECTIVENESS (where applicable)

Creative success isn’t just about how it looks - it’s also about what it achieves. In applicable categories, judges will consider how well the work delivered on its strategic goals, whether in terms of business impact, audience engagement, behavior change, or brand lift. Submissions must clearly demonstrate the link between idea and outcome, backed by relevant data. Strong entries combine emotional resonance with tangible results, proving that powerful creativity also drives performance.
