Priya Nair appointed new CEO and MD of Hindustan Unilever, replaces Rohit Jawa
Vineet Gautam, who led Bestseller India as chief executive officer, will be stepping down from his position.
In his role, Gautam developed a strategic plan to achieve company's mission and vision. He promoted revenue, profitability and growth.
He championed the channel strategy of business in Retail, wholesale and Online. He managed the entire business including Operations, Marketing, Projects, Finance, IT , SCM and HR. He oversaw company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. He managed strategic relationship with key business partners and suppliers.
He stated, "After 15 unforgettable years, the time has come for me to step down from my role at Bestseller India. My last working day will be 31st December 2024, marking the end of an incredible chapter in my professional journey."

He added, "Today, it fills me with immense pride to have been part of the incredible growth story of brands like JACK & JONES, Vero Moda, ONLY BRAND HOUSE, and SELECTED FEMME/HOMME. Together, we achieved milestones that seemed aspirational at the start – from introducing these brands to the Indian market to making them household names, and from a handful of stores to over 1,538 shop-in-shops and nearly 332 exclusive brand outlets across the country."
Gautam began his career at Domino's Pizza and went on to work across Cafe Coffee Day, Wills Lifestyle, Idea Cellular, Benetton Group and Etisalat Telecom.
