Mercedes-Benz India had a stellar 2022 and started this year with a bang. In fact, the company reported record sales in India during the first quarter of 2023, with its top end cars priced above one crore seeing accelerated growth. It was also around this time that Lance Bennett took over as sales and marketing chief of the German auto maker here in India. In an interview with Storyboard18’s editor Delshad Irani, Bennett spoke about the brand’s marketing strategies and where he sees consumers of luxury vehicles going.
