EssenceMediacom appoints Vivek Das as Managing Partner, MFG (Google) Lead – India & South-East Asia

Set to drive Google's growth journey out of EssenceMediacom’s Delhi office, Das takes over from Vinish Mathews, who is now Chief Strategy Officer at Mindshare.

With over 21 years of experience in digital and integrated marketing, Vivek Das has held prominent positions at WPP and Omnicom Media Group.

GroupM’s newest media agency, EssenceMediacom, has appointed Vivek Das as the new Managing Partner and MFG (Google) Lead for India and Southeast Asia. Das takes over from Vinish Mathews, who is now Chief Strategy Officer at Mindshare.

With over 21 years of experience in digital and integrated marketing, Das has held prominent positions at WPP and Omnicom Media Group. He has successfully managed high-profile clients such as Airtel, Nokia, Ford, Disney Star, PepsiCo, and Hindustan Unilever. In his last role at GroupM’s Mindshare, he led the consulting, data, analytics, and technology practice, earning numerous accolades along the way.

In addition to his professional achievements, he is a mentor to early-stage founders and an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
