Ad veteran Swati Bhattacharya joins Godrej Consumer Products' in-house agency Lightbox

Apart from the India operations, Bhattacharya in her new role will handle the markets of Argentina, Africa, Chile, Indonesia, etc, stated the report.

Swati Bhattacharya, who led FCB India as the creative chairperson, has joined Godrej Consumer Products Limited's in-house ad agency Lightbox Creative Lab as the global head, effective from September 1, 2024. Company sources have confirmed the development to Storyboard18. She will also be inducted in the GCPL Global Management Committee. Bhattacharya started her career in advertising twenty-six years ago. In 2016 she became India’s first woman CCO, when she joined FCB Ulka.

During her stint at FCB India, Bhattacharya played a crucial role in shaping the agency's creative reputation and bringing international recognition through path-breaking campaigns, while her keen insights and bold approach to storytelling have left an indelible mark on the organisation, inspiring creativity and pushing boundaries.

Under her leadership, FCB India won more than 180 awards including 4 Grand Prix, Glass Lion, Gold Lions, Clio golds, One Show golds and D&AD Yellow Pencil.
