Kaya's Group CEO Rajiv Nair resigns

Nair has stated the reasons for his departure are personal and to further his career goals.

Rajiv Nair began his career at Shoppers Stop and held various roles in different capacities. He was the business head - general merchandise & apparel, Hyoercity Retail India, and also held the designation of CEO at Celio.

Rajiv Nair, who led Kaya Ltd as group chief executive officer has stepped down from his position. In the resignation letter, Nair has stated the reasons for his departure are personal and to further his career goals.

As the Group CEO, Nair was responsible for spearheading the India business which includes responsibility for the India P&L, Strategic Leadership, Business Operations and Growth, Customer Experience, Marketing, Business Development, New Product Development, Service Innovation, Business Expansion, Digital Transformation of the Business.

Nair began his career at Shoppers Stop and held various roles in different capacities. He was the business head - general merchandise & apparel, Hyoercity Retail India, and also held the designation of CEO at Celio.

As Celio's CEO, his role was to develop and grow Celio in India. I foresaw the transition of the brand from a JV between Celio France and the Future Group into a majority ownership by the French company. His aim was to take Celio to a leading position among the global menswear brands in the country.
