Mukesh Gupta resigns from ITC's Board of Directors

On October 24, 2024, the Board recommended the appointment of Siddhartha Mohanty, CEO and MD of LIC, as a Non-Executive Director for three years, effective January 1, 2025.

Mukesh Gupta currently serves on the Boards of IDBI Bank Limited and CFM Asset Reconstruction Private Limited. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and an MBA in human resources.

Life Insurance Corporation of India's Mukesh Gupta has resigned from the Board of Directors of ITC Ltd as Non-Executive Director, effective October 27, 2024.

On October 24, 2024, the Board recommended the appointment of Siddhartha Mohanty, CEO and MD of LIC, as a Non-Executive Director for three years, effective January 1, 2025. If appointed, Mohanty will represent the Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Gupta joined LIC in 1984 and retired as Managing Director in 2021 after 37 years of service. His roles included Executive Director (Personnel) and Executive Director (Bancassurance) at the corporate office, as well as key positions in three major zones, including Zonal Manager of the Central Zone.

Gupta currently serves on the Boards of IDBI Bank Limited and CFM Asset Reconstruction Private Limited. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and an MBA in human resources.
