Ajay Mehta has been elevated to head of branded content and creative services for GroupM, the WPP owned media investments group firm.
Mehta was previously the Chief Content Officer at Mindshare, one of the leading global media and marketing agencies that's part of GroupM. Mehta led the Content Strategy and Brand Partnerships for all Mindshare India clients. With over 20 years of experience in Marketing Communications and Strategy, he has worked with leading firms like GroupM, Ogilvy, and Publicis India, and has developed and executed brand strategies and campaigns for diverse clients across various industries, such as FMCG, Telecom, Retail, Finance, Auto and Tech.
"My mission is to create meaningful and memorable experiences for consumers and to deliver value and growth for our clients and the agency," Mehta has said.
At the Storyboard18 DNPA Conclave 2025, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw spotlighted the critical role of traditional media in an evolving digital landscape. He emphasized that such gatherings can aid the govt in formulating more effective policies for a balanced and sustainable media ecosystem.
