OML Entertainment, a leading creative and entertainment business network, has announced the appointment of Preranaa Khatri as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO).
With a distinguished career spanning close to two decades, Khatri brings a wealth of expertise in content strategy, creator management, and revenue optimization, making her an instrumental figure in driving OML's continued growth and innovation.
This appointment marks a return for Khatri, who previously held a key leadership role at OML in 2016, where she spearheaded initiatives that significantly bolstered the company’s market presence and revenue streams.
In her new role, Khatri will report to CEO Tusharr Kumar and play a pivotal role in steering the company’s growth across multiple business segments, including advertising, branded content, creator tech, talent representation, and long-form content production.
Reflecting on Khatri's appointment, Tusharr Kumar, CEO of OML Entertainment, said, "I’m looking forward to driving growth at OML with Preranaa. Her extensive experience, strategic insight, and proven leadership skills will be invaluable as we expand our footprint in the media & entertainment industry. Khatri also expressed her enthusiasm about returning to OML, stating, "I am thrilled to be back at OML, a company that has always been close to my heart. I look forward to working with the talented team here to explore new opportunities and drive growth in the content and creator space. Together, we will continue to create impactful and engaging experiences for all our stakeholders."
Before re-joining OML, Khatri served as an independent consultant, focusing on strategic partnerships, revenue growth, and go-to-market strategies for leading brands and agencies. Notably, she worked on a Global Olympic Sponsor's Athlete Partnership Program leading up to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, further solidifying her expertise in high-impact, global campaigns.
The leaders highlighted how AI is emerging as a critical enabler in this shift from marketing’s traditional focus on new customers to a more sustainable model of driving growth from existing accounts.
