Toyota is recalling 55,405 vehicles in the United States after a bolt inside the inverter may not have been tightened correctly, potentially leading to incomplete contact at the inverter terminal, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated on Tuesday, according to a report by Reuters.

The safety regulator informed that a remedy for the issue is currently under development and will be announced at a later date, as per the report.
