Indian acting legend Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89. As per several media reports, celebrities have started arriving at the residence of veteran actor Dharmendra in Mumbai.
Earlier in November, Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. His health had reportedly deteriorated this month. However his daughter Esha Deol refuted the rumours surrounding his death.
With about six decades of his work and legacy left behind, not just the Indian film industry, but India is mourning the loss of the actor. Dharmendra's classic films like Sholay, Yaadon Ki Baarat, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Naukar Biwi Ka, Phool Aur Patthar, Betaab, and Ghayal will be remembered by his fans world over.
Celebrities have begun to arrive at his residence. As per ANI, an official statement is awaited.
Film director and producer Karan Johar posted his tribute to the legend on his Instagram.
