Ola Electric has unveiled its new Ola Digital Twin platform, designed to enhance manufacturing processes and streamline product development.
This platform, built on NVIDIA's Omniverse, integrates advanced technologies including Krutrim AI to create detailed digital twin environments.
The Ola Digital Twin platform facilitates the planning of Ola Electric's manufacturing facilities, optimizing equipment layouts and accelerating product development lifecycles. It employs advanced simulations and IoT integrations to improve operational efficiency.
Notably, the platform has enabled Ola Electric to achieve over a 20% reduction in time from design to commissioning at its Futurefactory.
Key features of the platform include the use of generative AI for kinematics simulations and synthetic image data generation, which aids in training autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and robotic arms. The integration with NVIDIA Isaac Sim allows for virtual training of robotic systems, particularly in pick-and-place applications for automated dark stores.
Additionally, the Ola Digital Twin is utilized in simulating welding processes and quality inspection systems, permitting virtual testing of changes before physical implementation. This capability allows for safer and more efficient operational adjustments.
