Global marketing communication network Omnicom Group's Indian subsidiary has reported a more than 133% rise in profit in the past four years.

According to business research platform Tofler, Omnicom Media Group India Pvt Ltd posted Rs 43.7 crore standalone profit as of December 2023 against Rs 18.7 crore in December 2020.

The company's standalone total revenue surged to Rs 405.50 crore in December last year as against Rs 165.83 crore in 2020.

Omnicom Media Group India's EBITDA stood at Rs 74.54 crore as of March 31, 2023.

Recently, Omnicom Media Group retained Volkswagen's global media account. Previously, the media responsibilities of the German automakers were managed by WPP's MediaCom from 1998 until Omnicom-owned PHD took over in 2016.

Omnicom Media Group India's CEO Kartik Sharma completed four years with the company in July 2024. Sharma joined the company in January 2020. Taking to LinkedIn about his journey, Sharma wrote, "As I complete 4 years with Omnicom today my deepest gratitude to my entire team, our clients, and media partners for your support and making this a memorable journey".
