According to the Prasar Bharati notification, the last date to apply for the posts is October 11, 2024.

Prasar Bharati has invited four applications for legal vacancies. The public broadcaster has invited applications for the posts of Legal Expert and Senior Consultant/Advisor, on a full-time contract basis.

According to the Prasar Bharati notification, the last date to apply for the posts is October 11, 2024.

All four posts are based out of New Delhi and require an LL.B. degree as the minimum qualification.

The remuneration for the Legal Expert is Rs. 60,000/- per month and for the Senior. Consultant/Advisor will be fixed in concurrence with OM of the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance (dated December 9, 2020).

In terms of eligibility, for the post of Legal Expert, the candidate has to be below 45 years of age and should have a minimum of 10 years of experience of practice in the Supreme Court/High Court/Labour Court/Central Administrative Tribunals/Arbitration.

The notification also added that one should have good communication skills and good knowledge of government rules and regulations, service matters, taxation, and commercial matters.

For Senior Consultant/Advisor, the applicant should be below 62 years of age and is a retired person with an LL.B. who has held positions not lower than Deputy Secretary in the Legal Department of Central/State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/PSUs, and has a thorough knowledge of Govt. rules and regulations, service matters, arbitration matters.
