Global media and entertainment giant Disney has been reportedly hacked with its internal communications leaked online, as per reports. It is currently investigating the hack of the company’s internal Slack channels.

The hacktivist group called 'Nullbulge' is claiming responsibility for the hack. The group said it has obtained and leaked more than 1 terabyte of data from Disney’s internal Slack channels.

The data trove of messages and files from nearly 10,000 channels, allegedly includes unreleased projects, code, raw images, login credentials, software development, job applicant evaluations, and links to internal websites and APIs. Reports state that the data also includes traffic and revenue data for Disneyland Paris and a new streaming feature.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the story. WSJ has seen the files allegedly obtained and leaked by Nullbulge, which included “conversations about maintaining Disney’s corporate website, software development, assessments of candidates for employment, programs for emerging leaders within ESPN and photos of employees’ dogs, with data stretching back to at least 2019.”

Nullbulge claims to focus on “protecting artists’ rights and ensuring fair compensation for their work.”
