Zydus Wellness appoints Arijit Sengupta as CMO

Arijit Sengupta, who led Reckitt as global marketing head - digital startup, has joined Zydus Wellness as chief marketing officer.
During his stint at Reckitt, Sengupta was responsible for Upspring Internationally - a wellness startup acquired by Reckitt. He led the building of the brand and communication, expanding into international markets and driving P&L outperformance.
Sengupta began his career as an area sales manager at Colgate Palmolive and also worked at Unilever.
As the former regional marketing director - fabric care, Asia, Sengupta was responsible for driving marketing strategy, innovations, communication and business performance for South East Asia and South Asia. He drove category development through education of Fabric conditioner usage in India.
